Summerlin is my backyard. I’d love to make it yours too.

There are plenty of places to live in Las Vegas. But more and more families and professionals are choosing Summerlin. I’m one of them – I’ve lived in Summerlin for over 20 years.

For me, the decision was easy.  Before moving into our first Summerlin home, I was a golf professional working at a golf club adjacent to Summerlin.  Working next-door to the award winning master planned community, gave me first view of the great amenities and design features going into Summerlin.  The trails, parks and how the different villages established their own look and feel set Summerlin apart and drew us to buying our first home.  Twenty years later it was time to make a change.  We wanted a new home better suited to our lifestyle.  The great news was Summerlin had some newer villages, designs and floor plans that matched what we thought was important in a home.  Plus the new home is closer to some of the new amenities like Red Rock Hotel & Casino, Downtown Summerlin we enjoy today.  As a result, we continue to call Summerlin our home.

Deep Roots, Bright Future

Business magnate Howard Robard Hughes Jr. was the visionary behind Summerlin, named in a nod to his paternal grandmother, Jean Amelia Summerlin. In 1951 he acquired 25,000 acres of land that bordered Red Rock Canyon and the Spring Mountain Range.

It sat untouched until the late 80s, when the Howard Hughes Corporation announced the intention to build a master-planned community with unique features and a premiere quality of life. Summerlin enjoys a national reputation for its design architecture and community planning. This has yielded a distinctive look and feel with lush landscaping, a modern “desert-chic” design aesthetic and the ideal mix of community amenities for its residents.

Over the years, this once-humble parcel of desert land grew to include more than 150 miles of trails, 20 community and village parks, 10 golf courses, 14 houses of worship and 25 schools for kindergarten through high school.

Summerlin promises its residents ample opportunity to live, work and play, all with the convenience of premier shopping and dining.

Live, Work, Shop, Enjoy

Never a stranger to national headlines, it was recently named as the #1 Best Place to Live & Play by National Geographic Adventure for its focus on healthy living and easy access to the great outdoors. In 2017, it was ranked forth on the list of best-selling master-planned communities by RCLCO real estate advisors.

More than 100,000 residents have made Summerlin their home and taken advantage of the real estate opportunities available there. I’d be honored to help you join them.
